Summary, as this Episode log has been lost.

After the events at the Nightingale, Nikki and her small circle of trusted friends, Rhyaad and Esther, gather in Nikki’s office to discuss the bizarre events of the night before. Suddenly their discussion is interrupted by a pale man who bursts into the offices of Collins’ Investigation. He is frantic and incoherent, He speaks of tales about eggs and monsters and Japan and an Island where his friend and lover (a vampire) Ellis was murdered. He talks of rice bowls and eggs and bird-like creatures He rambles about a dig and archeologists. Nikki using her considerable (and suddenly awaking) vampiric powers has the man look into her deep blue eyes and she hypnotizes him. In a trance, he becomes calm, but his story still rambles. Nikki begins to question him and discovers his name is Oskar and he has escaped from Arkham — where he was institutionalized. He has come to Collinsport owing to his ability to sense that there is a collection of vampires secreted there. He then discusses the Tnegu and it becomes obvious to Nikki and Rhyaad that it would be best to have Oskar cared for by the Interfaith. NIkki calls and Chiyo indicates that Neffy with be by shortly to help with the situation. Instead, Frankie, from the night before arrives. Esther still uncertain as to the gentleman’s true motivations — Frankie never helps in any situation but rather agitates it with his smart-ass demeanor, continues his attitude from the night before. Esther, haunted by the memories of her childhood, a small girl watching helplessly as taunting, smart-assed vampires murdered her family — a blood stained girl having to bury her mother and father — is still reacting from having seen a little girl drenched in blood with horrific creatures coming out of her (See the Bloody Tearoom) and does not trust not accept Frankie’s manner. To protect her friends (the trauma of her inability to save her family) she takes down her father’s gun from the office gun rack to force Frankie to leave. Frankie in turn taunts her and then melts her father’s gun. The only remaining tie she has to her family ruined, Esther collapses in tears as Nikki holds her in her protective arms and tires to console her. Her vampiric anger about to turn into fury she does not ask Frankie to leave she demands it — the first time Nikki has defied the Interfaith. Frankie in an off-hand manner threatens to remove all Interfaith connections with Nikki — including protection. Nikki tells him find, she’s done and for him to leave. Eppeus appears to explain that Frankie runs the Collinports Temple and his decision to have her excommunicated from the Interfaith will not only cut off her supply of donated blood, but would open Esther to the judgmental sanctions of the Interfaith i.e. Frankie could have destroyed her rather than then gun. Nikki tires to find a means to reconcile the situation to protect Esther. A long debate unfolds as to Nikki’s argument that the Interfaith is becoming in her opinion as intolerant as the intolerance they say they seek to combat. Eppeus seems not to understand Nikki’s point, or why she is protecting Esther over Frankie. He explains that Frankie runs the Collinsport Temple and as such it is his decision. Eppeus leaves. Esther is all but unconsolable with the loss of her father’s gun. Rhyaadd tries to help her as Chiyo next appears. Chiyo and Nikki, who has never defied Chiyo, enter into an argument. Chiyo although continuing to argue with her is becoming aware that the Nicole Collins whom the Interfaith has been helping is no longer the helpless new-born Vampire she was and is slowly becoming more mature and seems to be secretly proud that Nikki has begun to stand up for herself. Chiyo with her strange abilities is not only in the office with Nikki but seems to be party to another discussion unfolding at the Temple. With a smile, Chiyo indicates that a meeting about her has been concluded and that she should visit the Temple tomorrow evening for a very special meeting.
